American RSDHope is a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Corporation. (EIN 01-0502619) That means we are a registered non-profit entity and that donations to us are tax-deductible.

We have very little overhead and we have no salaried employees at any level.

Everyone who works on our programs donates their time and energy. All of our programs rely on tax-deductible donations, from those who believe in our cause, and from the sale of our Awareness Products.

We do not charge membership fees or dues nor do we charge for the information available on the website. It is one of the largest such collections of factual information on CRPS/RSDS on the internet.

We realize that not everyone can afford to give. Most of us are on a very limited income. We can speak from experience. We want everyone who needs this information, to have it.

This is why donations and the sales of our RSD Awareness items are so important to us. They generate the income needed to cover the expenses we incur on a daily basis.

Just imagine if everyone who viewed our website sent in just a few dollars. With 150,000+ visits a month we would be able to afford to spread our message even further. Our website has surpassed Ten Million hits! Just Imagine the possibilities!

We need your help in order to allow us to continue to assist others.

If you have been helped by the information on our website, if you and your family have been aided by the articles, descriptions, and definitions you found on our website, if it helped you to see that you weren't alone, weren't crazy, and if it helped save you from unnecessary surgery or a harmful treatment; then please help us provide that service to others.

If you have spent time viewing the medical information, mentor program, teen site, medical articles, coping articles, poetry, and humor, and/or other sections and felt they have helped you; please help us to continue to be able to provide this assistance to others. While our costs are low they still grow each year and we need help to enable us to be there for the tens of thousands who need us each year. Our website averages 20,000-25,000 hits per week and in 2008 we went over the 10,000,000 hit mark! Yes, that says 10 MILLION!

Help us show others that they are not alone, not crazy, that there is help and hope, that there is a future and that working together we can find a way to live with this disease until a cure can be found. Again, just imagine if everyone who viewed our website sent in just a few dollars every other month.

Is the information you get from our website, our email updates, our phone calls, our emails, our referrals, worth a few dollars every other month? Have you gotten a piece of information or an article or a recall for instance from our site or an update that has helped you tremendously? Is that worth spending a few minutes a day emailing some friends or family and asking them to contribute five dollars next month to the group? We just want to ensure that we are here for the next batch of RSDers who come down the line needing information.

We truly appreciate your kindness and on behalf of those you are helping we thank you. While we know not everyone can give, we do ask that those who can contribute do so for themselves and for those who cannot, to enable us to continue providing and growing. Let your families and friends know about us as maybe they would like to help. Maybe you can even have a fundraiser to help. Other organizations get tens of thousands of dollars from large corporations. We don't. We count on every dollar we get from individuals like you.

Please do not feel embarrassed to send in a few dollars thinking it won't do much. Just think about what a few dollars a month can do, especially when it is combined with the thousands of other people who across the country who use our site every week!

And don't underestimate the power of your contribution. When combined with others, we can do, and have done, miraculous things! Remember how it felt when you learned the strange collection of symptoms you have been experiencing were actually related and together had a name! And that there were others! Help others do the same.
